We were asked to design a series of sets that implied rooms or spaces on a white cyc that accurately represented Filipinos, Philippines culture, and different age demographics for the app Remitly. Its an app used to send money home abroad. Although of the dialog is in Tagalog, this commercial is being played not just internationally but also nationally. We focus on Gen Z and Millenial for all three sets and how different the personal styles were of each generation but still also keeping it rooted in Filipino culture and influence. We incorporated natural fibers, but also added a punch of color in certain areas to draw the eye to certain areas of the composition of the frame.
